Founded in 1824 during the Edo period, this long-established company, which has supported Japan's largest bag production since its beginnings with willow luggage, presents the HOKUTAN brand. (※HOKUTAN is the oldest existing fiber processing manufacturer in Japan.)
And now, We present original products born from the fusion of traditional Japanese attire (men's kimono) and bags, rooted in traditional culture and artisan craftsmanship.

A unique hard fiberboard created by laminating multiple layers of high-purity pulp fiber base paper and processing them as a single unit.
